Hi, I'm Teresa Bernard . Welcome to my online portfolio where I showcase my original oil paintings. I'm an oil painting artist as well as a professional Web site designer and graphic artist.
Fine art is my passion and in my spare time, I love to do my paintings. My favorite subjects to paint are places I've been to. However, I do paintings of other subjects as well. I paint entirely from photographs rather than copy the work of other artists. Because of this, over the years I have developed my own artistic style.
I'm considered a realism artist since my approach to a subject matter is to portray it in a realistic way. All my paintings would be categorized as realism art .
I use oil paint as my medium. It is a very traditional form of painting. All of the Old Masters used oils when they painted. I love the work of the Old Masters and someday I hope to be as much of an accomplished artist as they. Oil paintings are also the most loved form of art by both modern day artisans and art collectors alike.
