Prices realized for many works at our latest auction exceeded expectations. A Walter Joseph Phillips woodcut and two Peter Clapham Sheppard traditional oils fetched double their usual prices. Two collectible Harold Lyon cowboy-themed paintings were enthusiastically bid for by western buyers and realized healthy sales. Crowd pleasing favourites such as William Arthur Winter, John Arthur Fraser and Jennifer Hornyak also enjoyed healthy bidding. Overall it was an evening of pleasant surprises for all involved.
